sonnet youth #11

17 May

A spoken word house party. A literary rave.

Sonnet Youth is a spoken word house party. A literary rave. A real-life piss up in a brewery where anything goes. Bringing together poets, authors, rappers, comedians and musicians for a night of no holds barred performances.

Curated and hosted by Kevin P. Gilday - Writer & Spoken Word Artist & Cat Hepburn - Writer & Spoken Word Artist, this month it is our distinct pleasure to invite an incredible line-up of talent:

- Performing her debut long form piece 'Confessions', former Sonnet Youth Slam winner and the East End's own, Victoria McNulty - Poetry.

- Host of Inn Deep Poetry and mastermind behind The High Flight Fanzine, the irrepressable Sam Small Poetry.

- Internet sensation Chris McQueer - Writer will be reading short stories from his debut collection, due to be published by 404 Ink later this year.

- Spellbinding chanteuse Freya Giles will be performing her incredible music for us live.

and

- Belle Jones, one of the country's top actors, will be swapping one stage for another as she shares a set of her spoken word with us.
