Birthday Party29 May
We threw open the big black gates to Drygate Brewing Co. a year ago with a mission to bring craft beer to the people and demystify the brewing process. Along the way we have created an eclectic line up of beers, collaborated with local artists, bands and businesses & curated an extraordinary calendar of events. We are on a journey from the everyday to the exceptional and we invite you to celebrate this first mile stone by joining us for a beer to mark the occasion. This is a FREE event however, we have asked Nordoff Robbins Scotland to join us too, please do dig deep!

Discover new talent! Bands Edgar. & Memory Man plus Singer song writersAaron Wright & Sophie Rogers Music
Here is what Edgar have to say!
"We are Edgar. We formed in the hollow, impoverished embrace of that once fruitful seaside town called Ayr.
We play Hardcore Pop music. We listen to QT, Eels, Maximum the Hormone and Elton John during his Cocaine years and have shared stages with the likes of: Wecamefromewovles, Daydream Frenzy, Divides and Mark Morris (The Bluetones)."
Here is a bit from Memory Man too!
Formed in Glasgow in 2013 by guitarist Paul Mellon (Ex Red Light Company/F.O. Machete) and vocalist Stephen Connelly the duo quickly set about writing powerful, edgy pop songs wearing their influences proudly on their sleeves. Sometimes heavy and fast, sometimes slow and thoughtful, but always focused on exciting the listener's imagination with a mix of influences celebrating a time before the modern preoccupation with forgettable electro and throwaway television talent show winners.
Completing the line up were Mark McClelland (Ex Snow Patrol) on bass and drummer Liam McAteer (Ex Grim Northern Social). Songs, which had sounded so simple when written in Paul's living room, now sounded complete.... compelling, energetic and focussed.

Finally, under our 7 peaks we have Ezup residents!
Ezup is a collective that plays underground music, specializing in House, Techno, Disco and Funk. They started out hosting low key parties in peoples houses and basements before moving the party and setting up base at The Berkeley Suite where they ran a Sunday night and welcomed guests such as The Artful Dodger, Jasper James, Mia Dora and GoldFFinch. After 6 months there they moved home to La Cheetah Club on Queen Street, where they now hold a monthly residency. Since moving basements they have celebrated their first birthday with local legends Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and handed Denis Sulta his Glasgow debut, welcomed Grammy Award Winning Producer and Daft Punk Colloborator - Todd Edwards on top of sold out parties with techno aficionado's Barnt and Jimmy Edgar. Ezup shows no signs of slowing down in 2015 as this month they welcome Optimo's JG Wilkes & The Revenge to their lair for their monthly party, a weekly radio show under their belt and a summer festival in London. We are delighted to have them join us for our first birthday!
Here's to another year of brewing, collaborating, cultivating and curating!
