Drygate's 7 Picks

11 Aug

Hannah picks her top 7 recommendations from the Bottle Shop shelves this month.

Siren Craft Brew - Calypso BerlinerWeisse

A big favourite here at Drygate. Each batch of this sharp, sour wheat beer will be dry hopped with a different hop. This version has been dry hopped with Calypso which rounds the beer off with a citrussy grapefruit bitterness. As a super refreshing drinking, this one has actually converted many sour beer haters.

Williams Bros & Still Water - Stravaigan

After a year in the conditioning tanks this farmhouse-style Scottish ale has initial herby tones and lasting gooseberry notes with a slightly tingly mouth feel. With a fresh meadow on the nose, you discover more from this beer with each sip.

Beavertown - Black Betty

This is a beer that showcases all its ingredients right in your face. Roasty full-bodied taste from the dark malts and a hoppy bitter finish that makes you go back for more. All wrapped in a very inconspicuous and handsome can - so perfect for picnics, BBQs in the park and other outdoors affairs.

Beavertown - Neck Oil Session IPA
Black Isle - Porter
Black Isle - Yellowhammer
Saison D'Etre

Hannah and Emma man the Bottle Shop seven days a week (12 noon-8pm from Sun-Thurs, and 12 noon-10pm on Fri and Sat). Come and say hello.
